5.6 Drift, and re-solving
A clone is a clone. Change the source's throw ratio, device, lens, aspect or lens shift and every unit follows in the same undo entry — shift included, because shift is how a rig is aimed, and a rig is aimed as one thing: drop the truss and they all shift up together. A clone you then trim by hand keeps that trim until you edit the machine it is a copy of, which is the moment you meant the whole rig to follow.
Position is a separate decision. Re-stamping the optics does not move anything
— changing the picture and moving eight machines are two different intentions — so the spacing
stays where it is and no longer matches the intent you set. Throwcast reports that rather
than silently correcting it: the panel says something like H is −28.0 % against a
20.0 % target and offers Re-solve, which re-spaces to the target.
