5.3 The grid is the anchor’s own
Cells march along the anchor’s local right and up, not world X and Y. That is the layout you would see standing behind the rig, and it survives a tilted or rolled machine. Clones are parallel to the anchor, so moving or rotating the anchor carries the whole array with it.
The anchor and the four corners of the grid are drag handles. Dragging a corner re-derives the step along the axes it spans — and on an overlap-driven axis it back-solves the percentage, so dragging a corner literally edits the number in the panel. Only the component along each grid axis is used; the corner snaps back onto the lattice, which is the feedback that says the array stays rectangular.
